Do not carry thoughts of the past. They seem only to hold us back until the end, where then they are the decisions that will grade us. So maybe yes, carry them with you always, but remember your life before them, for thats what we all strive for after the end.

I used ' his ' quotation in a small selection of aphorisms in a church newsletter under the simple heading quoteable quotes. The quote was – ' It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle if it is lightly greased. I thought it was interesting / amusing etc.
Only after I'd printed the newsletter for circulation did I really see the real joke.
Kehlog Albran ? Kelloggs Albran ? Oh yes ! Well done !

Over the years, a few users have questioned my motives for selling Mein Kampf through the site. I sell the book for two reasons:

1: Traceability. I have a number of aphorisms by Adolf Hitler in my collection, some of which are taken from this book. In cases like this, I try to include the title in the Shopping section, to allow visitors who might be interested to buy it.

2: Candor. Unlike the Nazis themselves, I do not believe in censorship. And unlike some, nor do I believe that today's Nazism can be ignored to death. Rather, I believe that the best way to fight dark ideologies is to drag them out into the light for all to see.

What do you think? Voice your opinion in this forum!

This is the beta version of Aphorisms Galore! 2.0. "2.0" means that a lot has changed — in fact, almost everything has been entirely rebuilt from the ground up to accommodate the site's growing popularity (which has been causing some stability problems lately) and to make it possible to create new and more advanced features. "Beta" means that everything is not in place yet, and that there may be bugs lurking in the shadows.

The biggest news so far is the Forums section, which lets you participate in discussions on a large number of different topics. You can discuss categories, authors and even individual aphorisms, as well as books and other products in the upcoming Shopping section.
